Here’s What You Need to Know About Visiting This Nantucket Brewery

Pull up a chair, a picnic table, or a bar stool at Nantucket’s one and only craft brewery. Cisco Brewers, near Miacomet Golf Club and Bartlett’s Farm, is your straight-out-of-a-movie neighborhood spot. Think friendly conversations, welcoming picnic tables, live music, rotating food trucks, and, of course, the best house-crafted beers. It’s a must-see for any beer lover visiting the island.

  • About the Brewery
Beverage for you. Close up of hand of man holding glass of cold beer. He standing at counter in beerhouse

Cisco Brewers is a no-frills brewpub and the folks here genuinely want you to feel at home. Find a spot next to a stranger, strike up a conversation, sip on your favorite beer, and soak up the Nantucket sunshine. It’s rustic and simple in all the right ways.

The bar is typically serving up at least ten different draft options along with bottles and cans. Do like locals do and make Cisco’s your nightly stop for laid-back feels and great beers.

  • The Beer

Classics

Try one of their classic year-round brews. Whale’s Tale Pale Ale is a smooth and malty English-style Pale Ale. It’s one of the brewery’s most popular and is available in a can, bottle, or on tap. The Wandering Haze Hazy IPA and Gripah Grapefruit IPA are  equally as popular, with a hoppier, jucier bite.

Seasonals

From sunshine to snow, Cisco’s has your back. Try out the Pumple Drumkin for a fall harvest classic. Let the Winter Shredder warm up your cold bones. And refresh in the warmer months with their Summer Rays, a Golden Ale.

The Woods

The Woods is a vintage brand beer with brews aged in oak barrels, before being caged and corked. Lady of the Woods is one of the most popular in the collection providing sour flavors with hints of crabapple and lychee. You’ll want to snag a bottle of Cranberry Woods while you’re there and enjoy the fruits of their local labor.

Come Back to the Comforts of Periwinkle Inn

After you’ve finished your tasting flight, spend the night at the cozy Periwinkle Inn. Plan your stay in the Pequod room and enjoy a queen-size bed, Malin + Goetz toiletries, plush Turkish towels and bathrobes, and a gentle peek at the harbor.

Continental breakfast awaits you that includes juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, fresh fruit and baked goods while reveling in the sights and sounds of our tiny ocean town. We can’t wait to welcome you to Nantucket!
