About the Festival
The Nantucket Wine and Food Festival is one of the most prestigious of its kind. The island of Nantucket is already world-renowned as a mecca for one-of-a-kind culinary creations, making it the perfect spot for chefs from around the globe to showcase their talent.
The festival was born 24 years ago as a charitable resource benefiting Nantucket Island Community, its agricultural land, and the Nantucket High School Culinary Arts Program. Today, it is a pillar for culinary festivals around the world.
It can be hard to pick and choose which events to attend during the festival. With so many happenings all around the island, you’ll have to prioritize which are your must-see events. Some of our annual favorites include the Great Wines in Grand Houses series, the waterfront Harbor Gala, The Burgundy Dinner, the Full English Breakfast Fry Up, the Champagne Clambake, and, of course, the Grand Tastings. Whether you’re looking for elegant eateries or a laid-back island experience, this culinary festival does not disappoint. For a full schedule of events, click here.
Festival participants come from all around the world. Nantucket is lined with celebrity chefs, expert sommeliers, and press coverage from the nation’s most prominent publications. And it’s not just about the welcoming worldly guests to the island—it’s also a time to recognize the island’s own five-star talent.
