4 Must-Visit Nantucket, MA Restaurants

There is no such thing as a tourist trap on our beautiful island. Don’t worry—you won’t be disappointed with any of Nantucket’s exclusive eateries. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have our favorites. Explore four of our front-runner Nantucket, MA restaurants.

  • Oran Mor | 2 South Beach Street

Want an intimate Nantucket experience with your special someone? Check out the candle-lit and cozy Oran Mor Bistro. The romantic-ridden bistro offers housemade pasta, savory meat options, and an exquisite dessert menu. Grab a seat by the window, order a glass of deep red wine, and take your time biting into some of the best dishes you’ll ever experience.

Local Tip: Calling all chocolate lovers. Order Our Take on Five for dessert. The decadent chocolate torte is brimming with warm dark chocolate mousse and dripping with caramel-dipped pretzels and housemade peanut ice cream. You can thank us later.

  • American Seasons | 80 Centre Street

American Seasons boasts beautifully crafted fresh seafood, farm-to-table ingredients, and a carefully crafted a la carte menu. The restaurant is headed up by Chef and Owner, Neil Ferguson, who brings flavor scanning the globe from Scotland to Paris to New York City. American Seasons is open Thursday-Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  • The Proprietors | 9 India Street

The Proprietors Bar and Table flawlessly blends a trendy bar-like setting with a laid back sips and small bites atmosphere. The menu is revolving, but we recommend the Nantucket Bay Scallop Crudo, the Korean Short Rib, the Warm VT Goat Cheese Crostini, and the Cavatelli. Say it with us, yum.

  • The Pearl | 12 Federal Street

The experts at The Pearl effortless blend Japanese-inspired dishes with authentic Nantucket sophistication. Entrees such as their Salt and Pepper Wok Fried Lobster and their grilled prime porterhouse with a Nikka whiskey mushroom jus and just a couple that will leave your taste buds wanting more. See what this Downtown gem is all about during your next visit.
